Natia Shamugia is a tax consultant with over 10 years of work experience in both the public and private sectors. She holds a Master's degree in Economics from the International School of Economics (ISET) at Tbilisi
State University.

At ECOVIS Georgia, Natia leads the tax consulting team, advising clients on local and international taxation issues, including tax planning, tax dispute resolution, preparation of advance tax rulings, and participation in discussions.

Before joining ECOVIS, until 2015, Natia worked at the Revenue Service, where she participated in tax policy reforms and the development of legislative changes. She was also involved in reviewing requests for advance rulings and editing situational guidelines.

Natia also has many years of experience in international projects, which include working with the governments of Georgia, Albania, and Uzbekistan on tax reform issues, as well as participating in USAID's "Governing for Growth," "Good Governance Fund," and "Economic Governance Program" projects.

Natia's particular area of interest is international taxation. She is also interested in psychology and modern management approaches.
